ABOUT DLP
The Developing Leaders Program (DLP) is the first of its kind for Planned Parenthood volunteer programs, designed for individuals who are passionate about reproductive health and justice, but don’t get the opportunity to develop that passion in their professional lives. We are a talented, dynamic group with diverse backgrounds in law, social work, public health, international affairs, and a variety of other fields. Our participants have worked on political and grassroots campaigns, volunteered as clinic escorts, and served on boards for professional networking groups in Washington, DC.

WHAT DO WE DO?
DLP members not only learn about the many facets of the reproductive health field, such as advocacy, policy, health center operations, and fundraising; they also put their skills to use by organizing events that benefit PPMW, and promote reproductive health and choice. By investing in the DLP now, PPMW is preparing the next generation of activists and advocates defending access to much needed reproductive health services.
